Importers maintain optimistic sales expectations, environmental protection concept is more concerned by consumers
According to "Home Textiles Today" and other media reports, in the past 10 months, the retail enterprises of furniture, household products and home decoration products in the United States have achieved unprecedented growth. From Williams Sonoma, home depot to Lowe's, all professional home retailers have raised their forecast for the future, extending the market expectation to 2022, and saying that the shopping Carnival after the epidemic may produce a "prosperous 1920s" style consumption boom. According to the statistics of the United States Retail Federation, although affected by the supply chain, the retail sales of the United States in May decreased compared with April, it is still the second highest month since the organization's statistics.
In addition, environmental protection products are becoming more and more popular among consumers. Driven by this wave, a large-scale textile recycling project led by major retail enterprises and textile and garment suppliers in the United States was announced to enter the experimental operation stage. Funded by Wal Mart foundation and implemented by accelerating circulation Inc., the project aims to build a whole recycling system of waste textiles from collection, classification, raw material pretreatment, fiber production, spinning, weaving to product design, manufacturing, marketing and retail. The whole project will become the first large-scale textile recycling system in the United States.
