Polyester:
An important variety of synthetic fiber, it is the trade name of polyester fiber in my country.
Polyester properties:
1. Polyester fabric has high strength and strong elastic recovery ability, so it is durable, wrinkle-resistant and pressure-free.
2. Polyester fabric has poor hygroscopicity and feels stuffy. It is also prone to static electricity and dirt, affecting the appearance and comfort. But it dries easily after washing, has almost no reduction in wet strength, does not deform, and has good washability and ease of use.
3. Polyester is the most heat-resistant fabric among fabrics and has thermoplastic properties. It has pleated skirts and long pleats. At the same time, polyester fabrics have poor heat resistance and are prone to forming holes such as soot and sparks. Therefore, you should avoid contact with cigarette butts, sparks, etc. when wearing it.
4. The light resistance of polyester fabric is very good. Except for the difference with acrylic fiber, it is better than natural fiber fabric. The glass on the back, in particular, resists sunlight very well, almost as well as acrylic.
5. Polyester fabrics have good resistance to various chemicals. They are not damaged by acids and alkalis and are not afraid of mildew.
Acrylic fiber:
Acrylic fiber (loose viscosity): is the product name of polyacrylonitrile fiber in my country. Acrylic fiber has excellent properties and is called "synthetic wool" because it is close to wool.
The properties and uses of acrylic fiber:
Elasticity: It has good elasticity, second only to polyester and about twice that of nylon. Has good shape retention.
Strength: The strength of acrylic fiber is not as good as polyester and nylon, but it is 1 to 2.5 times higher than wool.
Heat resistance: The softening temperature of the fiber is 190~230℃, second only to polyester among synthetic fibers.
Light resistance: The light resistance of acrylic fiber is the best among all synthetic fibers for outdoor exposure. Strength is only reduced by 20%.
The characteristics of plush fabric are as follows:
1. Light and clean appearance, good breathability and drape;
2. The texture is soft, thin, transparent, smooth and elastic;
3. It feels very comfortable and elegant when worn on the body;
4. After high-temperature shrinkage treatment, it is not easy to deform and wrinkle;
5. Good physical properties, high fiber strength, wear resistance and durability;
6. Good chemical properties, alkali resistance, chemical resistance, insect resistance and mildew resistance.
